Precautions for the installation of PVC films

PVC films is an emerging building material. It has been recognized as the "sixth building material" after brick, stone, concrete, steel and wood. However, many people do not know much about the installation of PVC films. The installation method and design have certain points in common, so in this section, some common forms of membrane structure will be introduced first, which are mainly divided into three forms: skeleton type, tension type and inflatable membrane structure.

(1) Skeleton membrane structure: The steel framework of traditional structural forms such as grid structure, space truss, and grid structure is used as the supporting system, and the characteristics of the membrane material as the light-weight enclosure system are used to realize the large-span spatial structure. Due to the light weight of the membrane and the skin effect produced by pre-tensioning, the supporting structure can be effectively reduced, thereby reducing the amount of steel.

(2) Tensile membrane structure: Steel cables and a small amount of steel components are used as the main supporting structure, and the prestress of the steel cables is used to provide the structure with rigidity against external loads to achieve a large-span space structure. The membrane body and the membrane body are connected by prestressed steel cables, so that a single membrane structure roof system can reach more than 100,000 square meters. It is favored by architects due to its light structure and rich building shape.

(3) Inflatable membrane structure: using pure natural free building materials-air as the supporting structure, using the air pressure difference between the inside and outside of the membrane to provide rigidity to the structure to resist external loads, and large-span space can be realized without structural members such as columns and beams. . Through the fusion between the diaphragm and the diaphragm, the membrane area can reach more than 10,000 square meters, and it has been widely used in sports facilities, commercial facilities, industrial facilities, military facilities and other fields.
