PVC film is made of polyvinyl chloride film, and PET film is made of polyester resin, they are both kind of surface material.

Base on their physical properties, they have different application.
PVC film is workable with membrane vacuum prss (3D), laminatiing and wrapping(2D), because it has high malleability.
PET film is perfect with laminating(2D)
3. There is no better film or worse film, only when it is suitable for use is the best.
