Introduction to the advantages of pvc sheet

Pvc sheet is a board with a honeycomb mesh structure made of PVC as raw material. pvc sheet accounts for the largest proportion in the building materials industry, at 60%, followed by the packaging industry, and there are several other small-scale applications. According to the degree of softness and hardness, it can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. According to the production process, it can be divided into PVC skinned foam board and PVC free foam board. According to transparent and opaque, it can be divided into PVC transparent board and pvc sheet.

General performance PVC resin is a white or light yellow powder with a relative density of 1.35-1.45. The hardness of the product can be adjusted by adding the number of plasticizers. Pure PVC has low water absorption and air permeability. Mechanical properties PVC has high hardness and mechanical properties. And increases with the increase of molecular weight, but decreases with the increase of temperature. Rigid PVC has good mechanical properties, and its elastic modulus can reach 1500-3000MPa. The elasticity of soft PVC is 1.5-15MPa. But the elongation at break is as high as 200%-450%. The friction of PVC is general, the static friction factor is 0.4-0.5, and the dynamic friction factor is 0.23.

Thermal performance PVC has very poor heat resistance stability. It starts to decompose at 140°C, and its melting temperature is 160°C. The coefficient of linear expansion of PVC is small, it is flame retardant, and the oxidation index is as high as 45 or more. Electrical properties PVC is a polymer with better electrical properties, but due to its greater polarity, the electrical insulation is not as good as PP and PE. The dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent value and volume resistivity are large, and the corona resistance is not good. It is generally suitable for medium and low voltage and low frequency insulating materials. Environmental performance PVC is resistant to most inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, and most organic solvents. Suitable for anti-corrosion materials in medicine and chemical industry.
